The most productive time is that time between the deadline and the extended deadline. Screw this (arbitrary) 3 stages of a project. Think of a project as a 1 stage endeavour. You know an extension is inevitable. So don’t expend any effort towards any project till that extension comes through. There’s no way the entire college is going to be denied (at least one) extension, in the present dispensation. Do whatever you want till the deadline (such as all the things Sarangan missed out on). Then work on your project, taking into account the duration of the extension given. This means that every week of college life is available to you to do what you want, till the original deadline. You only have to budget for the interregnum between deadlines.
